Shipping & Returns

Audio-Depot is a BBB (Better Business Bureau) Accredited Business with their highest A+ Rating, has earned the BBB Secure Site Seal, is a participant in the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability Program and utilizes SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to encrypt data entered on our site during Log In, Account Creation, and Order Check-Out. 

Audio-Depot.com conducts business as Audio-Depot or Audio-Depot Com in other Marketplaces. Audio-Depot is not associated with other businesses of similar name, including any companies that do not have the dash in their name.

Policies and prices may vary depending upon the web site that you are purchasing through (here on Audio-Depot.com vs. Audio-Depot on Amazon vs. Audio-DepotCom on Ebay, etc).  The policies listed here apply to purchases made here on Audio-Depot.com.

Audio-Depot.com accepts Paypal and all major credit and debit cards.  If you wish to pay by bank card, select the PayPal option, then select "Pay via Credit or Debit Card as a PayPal Guest".

Take advantage of our free or discounted shipping!  Most orders over $100 with delivery within the contiguous United States have free shipping, though exceptions do apply. Most orders under $100 for delivery within the contiguous United States have just a $7 shipping and handling fee regardless of order size.

Sales Tax is collected on orders shipped to California.

Audio-Depot ships most domestic packages via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise instructed.

For everyone's protection, orders placed on Audio-Depot.com can only be shipped to addresses approved by the card holder through their bank or PayPal.  This simple security measure stops nearly 100% of the fraud that we encounter.

For your protection, please check for damage that may have occurred in transit before signing for any packages.

Audio-Depot is committed to reducing, re-using, and recycling.  All orders are securely and professionally packed with re-used materials received from manufacturers.  Examples of re-used packing materials may include cardboard, bubble wrap or packing peanuts that we have received from manufacturers.  In addition we may use items that would have otherwise gone to the landfill, such as shrink-wrap that had been used to wrap pallets, plastic bags that were used by manufacturers to individually wrap products, etc.  

Re-using is less efficient and less cost effective for us than throwing it all in the trash and buying new boxes and packing materials, but we are committed to doing our part for the environment.  In our 19 years of serving the Pro-Audio Community, we have never once purchased packing materials. If possible, please re-use or recycle the packing materials that you receive from us!

 

Return Instructions:

  • Dead On Arrival (DOA) merchandise can usually be exchanged immediately (subject to stock on hand).
  • Goods for exchange must be returned with original packing materials.  Please double box, just as we probably did when we sent the item to you.
  • Call or email us at dj@audio-depot.com 888.251-2002 to obtain an RA# (Return Authorization number)
  • Provide a detailed explanation of the defect.
  • Remember to fully insure the packages you are sending.
  • There is no charge for a direct exchange of DOA merchandise.

 

Packing Instructions:

  • All goods must be packed with original packing
  • Double box the item. If not already double boxed, place the original box in a bigger box and surround it with peanuts or other packing materials.
  • Write the RA# on the outside of the outer (double) box ONLY
  • Be sure to include all original accessories (lamps, cables, power supplies etc.) 
  • Items shipped with poor or no packing may be refused.

 

Unit will be replaced except in the following cases:

  • Unit is not in its original packing or the open box is in unsellable condition.  Please double box the item to avoid this situation!
  • Unit has been used, scratched or dented.
  • We will repair or replace broken products at our discretion.
  • PLEASE NOTE:  Items used in or at the mouth or ears, including microphones, headphones and in-ear monitors, are not returnable for health reasons.  This is the law in some places! Parts--including power adapters and parts not in the parts section--special orders, phonograph cartridges and styli are generally not returnable.

 

Returns for credit:

There is no charge for replacement due to defective or 'shipping damaged' merchandise; restocking fees only apply to items returned for credit or refund.

  • Up to a 20% restocking fee plus charges for missing accessories and damaged packaging/boxes costs may apply to items returned for credit or refund
  • The actual cost of discounted shipping and fulfillment center charges (including shipping charges that were discounted or free to you but paid by us) will also be deducted from the amount of the return.

Goods that are damaged, scratched, or otherwise not sellable as 'new--open box' are generally not returnable

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: 

We can only ship to an authorized and confirmed PayPal address.  The buyer is responsible for all Customs Duties and Tarifs.  We reserve the right to refuse any order including orders that are unable to be shipped by the USPS / United States Parcel Service (delivered by UPS in many countries).

Please note that the products we sell operate on standard United States 120 volt (110 to 125 volt) 60 Hz power, and may or may not have a 220 volt/50 Hz option.  It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure that a product produced for the U.S. market will work in their country.

Products do not typically come with a warranty in other countries and would need to be shipped back to the U.S.A. at the buyer's expense for warranty service.  All international sales are final.
