These new 30" Ukulele acoustic electric basses have raised the bar! This U-Bass is fretless, whereas most similar-looking ukulele basses tend to have poorly made frets that dig into your hand on the side of the neck. The new Italian Aquila strings feel like rubber but they have a metal core so you don't need to have calloused fingers in order to play for hours! Between the rubbery strings and the fretless neck, this new version is very easy on the fingers and very easy to play. Most importantly they sound great, even when played acoustically!

This particular 30" baritone bass ukulele has a Wilow top, back & sides. The fingerboard is rosewood, the nut & saddle are Ox bone, and the binding is maple. The internal preamp has controls for volume, bass, mid and treble control. There is a built-in tuner. A nice soft-sided case is also included.

Typical tuning is the same as that of a bass guitar, making this fretless ukulele a great way to learn bass while your bass finger callouses are still forming. It is very easy for bass and guitar players alike to pick up and immediately begin playing!
