This "Chance" guitar is a 42" solid spruce and flamed maple electrified acoustic auditorium guitar that was one of about a dozen guitars showcased in the Merida booth at the NAMM Show.

It has built-in electronics, including a built in tuner, eq and pre-amp operating on a standard 9 volt battery.

These pictures are NOT stock; They are of the exact instrument being sold. The images of this Chance guitar really do not due it's beauty justice.

The idea for Mérida Extrema came from the 2,000-year-old historical Roman village of Mérida in the area of Extremadura in Spain, just north of Andalusia, the birthplace of the guitar. The ancient arched Puente Romano Bridge became the inspiration for Mérida Extrema’s TwoWoodtone Bridge, the ultimate sound connection between the strings and the guitar’s solid top.

Mérida Guitars and the factory that bears it's name builds guitars for many of the most respected, established and well-known brands of guitars in the world.
