The Shure SS35C or SS35CZ are the Shure replacement needle (stylus) for the Shure SC35C cartridge.

As you may have noticed, the second letter designates S=Stylus or C=Cartridge.

A 'Z' on the end of the stylus model number designates the form of packaging the stylus is in (Z-tab, cut from sheets of 12). 

The SS35CZ are exactly the same styli as the SS35C, which comes in different packaging (a small box and plastic shell). 

This cartridge and stylus, like all Shure cartridges and styli, is discontinued. We are still selling through our left over inventory of Shure replacement needles. We also have some used SC35C cartridges left in stock, but no new ones.

Update July 2020: We recently purchased all of the remaining Shure inventory from a former distributor out of Michigan, so we have both forms of packaging in stock.

Update January 2023: We have only the boxed variety remaining.
