This is the hinge that attaches to the dustcover of an SL1200MK2. Remember, you need two for each turntable!

These hinges may have minor scratches and nicks from kicking around in the same box with other hinges. Once you put them on your turntable you will never notice those nicks again!

Note: Putting hinges on the dustcover of an SL1200M3D, SL1200MK5, or SL1210M5G does not work, since those turntables do not have hinge receptacles on the back for the hinge to attach to. Receptacles can be purchased separately and installed onto those Technics versions, but they are a bit more difficult to install than you might think.
