Save yourself the $100+ labor bill for a technician to take apart your SL1200MK2 and solder in a new pitch control. This is a plug-and-play part that does not require soldering! However, you still have to remove a whole bunch of screws to get to the part.

Pro Tip: Before screwing anything back in, be sure to check the speed to make sure it does not need adjustment. There is a screwdriver-adjusted pot right there on the pitch control's circuit board.
